The EAA Airventure at Oshkosh show concluded Sunday, August 1st after a great week of typical Wisconsin weather, large crowds and high spirits. Today the first production Flight Design F2-LSA to reach the USA was inspected by an FAA representative and issued a certificate of airworthiness as a Special Light Sport Aircraft. Lakeland, FLORIDA FLIGHT DESIGN general aviation and FLIGHT DESIGN USA had a very successful Sun n’ Fun 2021 airshow in Lakeland, Florida last week. We are pleased to announce that the CTLS GT Grand Touring has been successfully registered by Flight Design France as a 525kg Ultralight and that the airplanes now can be registered in France at 525kg max takeoff weight, the French aviation Authority has issued the revision of the Fiche d ’identification which was previously limited to 472.5kg to 525kg.
