The first CTLS PtF (permit-to-fly) airplane has been updated into an EASA Restricted Type Certificate airplane. The German aviation authority (LBA) has just awarded it a new certificate of airworthiness.   “The total upgrade included changes to make the aircraft compliant to the applicable Type Design and the same comprehensive checks which we do with a newly produced aircraft. On Wednesday, June 5, 2019, the first public flight of the Flight Design F2e took place at the Strausberg airfield, near Strausberg Germany.
