Flight Design general aviation is happy to announce that the popular CTLS series is now certified by the German Aeroclub (DAeC) for 600kg Maximum Takeoff Mass. After the recently issued EASA Restricted Type Certificate for the first CTLS in Germany, Spain now follows. The first CTLS PtF (permit-to-fly) airplane has been updated into an EASA Restricted Type Certificate airplane. The German aviation authority (LBA) has just awarded it a new certificate of airworthiness.   “The total upgrade included changes to make the aircraft compliant to the applicable Type Design and the same comprehensive checks which we do with a newly produced aircraft.
