Today's Pilot Magazine2010-03-15
Have a look into the April Issue of Today's Pilot Magazine http://www.todayspilot.co.uk . The Front page with the Flight Design MC and the subtitle "Metal Masterpiece" says it all!
Dave Unwin has tested the MC, the newest Flight Design airplane. The large cabin, excellent visibility, it’s very solid and stable and ease of flying has drawn his attention “I’d say the MC is worthy addition to Flight Design stable, and will particularly appeal to those aviators who feel that all flying machines should be made of metal. Every indication is that the Fligth Design team have produced another winner.”
FLIGHT DESIGN RAISES BAR FOR TRAINING QUALITY
Formal Syllabus Helps Existing Pilots Transition to Fly CTLS
Two facts are well known in the Light-Sport Aircraft community: (1) Most buyers are existing pilots who have been flying general aviation airplanes for years, and (2) The insurance industry is very keen to see better training of these pilots before they begin flying Light-Sport Aircraft (LSA). Now, Flight Design announces their “Transition Syllabus” as means to assure standardized and thorough training for all buyers of the company’s popular Light-Sport Aircraft.
“We know the insurance industry has been insisting on better training of presently-licensed pilots,” said Tom Peghiny, president of Flight Design USA, “and we agree. That’s why we invested plenty of time and gained feedback from multiple CT-series experts to be sure we were giving new buyers the right check out in their new CTLS.”
